With over 25 years of experience in gymnastics, including competing as a Division 1 gymnast at Temple University, Meala has dedicated her life to fitness. Her passion for health and movement extends beyond her own training—She has coached many gymnasts at all levels and led summer camps, while also working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.
Meala holds a degree in Exercise Science from Temple and certifications in both Group Fitness and TRX training. Driven to help others build strength and improve mobility, Meala wants to share her passions for strength and movement with others so they can continue to move with ease and confidence throughout their lives.

Meala felt that creating this new space became vital—not just for herself, but for everyone. Her mission is to continue what she started: to build strength, improve mobility, and help people feel good in their bodies for life.

Khalil Slaughter is a passionate and results-driven fitness professional with over a decade of experience in helping clients of all fitness levels achieve their health and wellness goals. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and seasoned Group Fitness Instructor, Khalil brings energy, expertise, and a personalized approach to every session.
With a strong foundation in strength training, functional movement, and cardiovascular conditioning, Khalil specializes in designing well-rounded programs that improve performance, build confidence, and support long-term lifestyle changes. His motivating style and commitment to client success make him a trusted coach, whether working one-on-one or leading a dynamic group class.
Outside the gym, Khalil stays current with the latest in exercise science and wellness trends to continually enhance his coaching. He’s excited to bring his passion and professionalism to the Vital fitness community and looks forward to helping members feel stronger, healthier, and more empowered every day.
